  "What's Good"?

What’s Good? delves into the realities of gun violence, illustrating how the choices often glorified within society can lead individuals down a path of destruction. Through a powerful dual-dialog, the narrative captures the anguish felt by all parties involved, depicting raw emotions and their consequences. In a poignant climax, the final two scenes showcase a transformative journey of forgiveness and reconciliation between the spouses of both the shooter and victim, highlighting a realistic path toward hope and love in the face of tragedy.

What’s Good? is not just a reflection of despair; but an invitation to foster a dialogue that leads to healing and empowerment.

“Jason Dorsey is one of the most dynamic spoken word poets of his generation. A survivor of abuse, addiction, incarceration, his life and lyricism are the living embodiment of that Buddhist mantra reminding us: the deeper the mud, the more beautiful the lotus flower blossoms.”
